Epson notes that film and powder need to be sourced separately, sheet-based production requires a suitable oven, roll-based production requires a suitable shaker/oven unit, and a heat press is required to transfer the final image onto garments or other media.
What is included with the printer?
The Epson G6060 printer package from Epson includes the core printer items required to set up the machine, while your final DTF workflow will also require film, powder, an oven or shaker/oven and a heat press.
Premium printer, but not maintenance-free
The G6060 is designed to reduce downtime and improve reliability compared with many converted systems, but correct maintenance and correct consumables are still essential.
Warranty and CoverPlus
The G6060 is available in Epson configurations with 1, 3 or 5 year service cover. Epson states that printers are covered by a 1 year warranty for non-consumable parts including the printhead and labour, with free on-site service in metro areas. Regional travel charges may apply.
Optional CoverPlus can extend cover up to 5 years, subject to Epson’s terms and activation requirements.
Important warranty expectations
Epson states that warranty and CoverPlus may be restricted or denied if the user does not perform maintenance and cleaning as outlined or advised, if the equipment is modified, used outside specification or used with non-Epson consumables.
